Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater plants. A Water/Wastewater license is required and a proven track record in supervising teams and enforcing SOPs is essential.

The role includes budget management, monthly reporting, and coordination with account managers to drive reliable plant performance and continuous improvement. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: BA/BS in related field with 5-7 years water/wastewater experience.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Licenses: Water/Wastewater Operator’s License; CDL preferred.
• Technical: OSHA and DOT knowledge; proficiency with regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leads team of operators in people management, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and training.
• Ensures SOPs and DOT/OSHA requirements are met.
• Communicates with account managers weekly about ongoing operations.
• Conducts site visits and coordinates with maintenance group on repairs.
• Manages maintenance of trucks/equipment and budgeting.
• Creates and manages operational budget and monthly reports.
• Assesses performance and implements continuous improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
