The City of Atlanta is seeking a Watershed Construction Maintenance Worker I (RM Clayton) to support public works and water/wastewater operations in Atlanta, GA. The role involves handling hand and power tools, light to medium equipment, and working within a crew to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Essential duties include inspecting and repairing water mains, installing meters, and assisting in plant maintenance and testing, with opportunities to work beyond standard hours.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required; related public works experience preferred.
• CDL Class A/B and water distribution licenses desired.
• Knowledge of safety, math principles, and basic reports.
• Ability to operate light-heavy equipment and maintain tools.

Mansioni

• Inspect and repair water mains; install meters and tailpieces; perform sewer and catch basin work.
• Assist plant maintenance with calibration and testing of equipment.
