Job summary

City of Atlanta is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead wastewater collection or water distribution operations. You will oversee crews, assign corrective and preventive maintenance on mains, hydrants, valves, and related equipment, and ensure work complies with safety and policy guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4 years in construction or maintenance in these systems, and a valid CDL Class A plus operator licenses.

Qualifications

• HS diploma plus 4 years of wastewater or water distribution experience.
• CDL Class A license and wastewater/water operator licenses required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance on water mains, hydrants, valves and related equipment.
• Supervise crew; ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Train staff and evaluate performance.
• Maintain daily work records and SOM system updates.
• Coordinate transports and site safety.
