You will install, maintain, and repair mains, hydrants, and meters; perform meter testing and CIS updates; and participate in safety meetings, schedule coordination, and emergency response. A valid water distribution certificate and 5 years of experience are required; Class A license may be

Qualifications

• Grade 3 Water Distribution Certificate is required; Grade 4 is desired.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; Class A may be required (location specific).
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in water utility.
• Proficient in using the CIS Customer Information System and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and decide on job details and emergencies.
• Organize, lead, and direct Liberty staff and contractors.
• Assist in creating annual meter reading and weekly lock-off schedules.
• Maintain tools and equipment and assigned vehicles.
• Install, operate, and repair water mains, services, meters, valves, and fire hydrants.
• Perform safety inspections and complete daily paperwork.
• Update meter testing results and CIS with test data.
