ARIZONA WATER COMPANY in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking an experienced Utility Worker III to support water distribution operations. You will perform general maintenance, read meters, prepare reports, and assist with emergency on-call duties.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, vocational training in pipefitting/electrical, two years of related experience, and licensure including Grade 1 and Grade 2 Water Distribution Operator certificates and a valid Arizona driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Vocational training in pipefitting, electrical, or internal combustion engine crafts is preferred.
Must have a valid Arizona driver's license.
Must have Grade 1 Water Distribution System Operator Certificate.
Must have Grade 2 Water Distribution Operator Certificate.

Responsibilities

General operation and maintenance of the water distribution system.
Record system or equipment changes on maps and records.
Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and equipment; install/replace service lines and meters.
Make turn-ons/turn-offs per work orders to connect/disconnect service.
Operate auxiliary equipment such as purification or treatment systems.
Manage materials and supplies inventory and related paperwork.
May be reassigned to other duties including emergencies or after-hours work.
