Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations is seeking a Water Truck Driver to support on-site project locations. You will transport water for dust control, soil maintenance, and site upkeep, reporting to the Field Supervisor and coordinating with site crews for safe, efficient operations.

Requirements include a CDL (Class A or B), at least 2 years of water truck/heavy equipment experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid CDL with Class A or B endorsements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck safely to transport and distribute water across project sites.
• Perform dust control by spraying roads and debris areas to meet safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Monitor water levels and refill to maintain operations.
• Follow DOT regulations and site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and crews to prioritize watering.
• Maintain logs of vehicle usage and maintenance.
• Identify and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Support additional site activities including general labor when not operating the truck.
