Job summary

S&S Paving & Construction, Inc. is seeking a Water Truck Driver to transport and distribute water for dust control, compaction, and site maintenance on construction and mining locations. You will ensure safe, compliant delivery and maintain the vehicle for reliable operations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-inspections, water level monitoring, record-keeping, and coordinating with supervisors. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work, variable hours, and safety training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CDL for water truck operation.
• One year of experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction or mining environments.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift, climb and perform manual labor tasks.
• Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck in accordance with site, state, and federal regulations.
• Distribute water on roads, construction sites, and designated areas as directed.
• Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the water truck.
• Monitor water levels and refill tanks as required.
• Maintain accurate records of water delivery and truck maintenance activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to the vehicle.
• Communicate with supervisors and other team members regarding operational needs and site conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training sessions.
