Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Water Treatment Technician at the Kankakee plant. You will operate and maintain treatment facilities, monitor systems, and ensure continuous water service while supporting safety and regulatory requirements.

The role involves shift work, overtime, and emergency call-outs. A high school diploma is required, with a Class A license to be obtained within six months. Training will cover instrumentation and data reporting.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling preferred.
• Must obtain Class A Public Water Supply Operator license within six months of employment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and read/interpret operating instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, data manipulation, and spreadsheet development.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain water treatment facilities and equipment.
• Conduct water quality testing and collect samples for regulatory compliance.
• Record measurements, readings and perform data entry for reporting.
• Respond to operational issues and perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
