Aqua America, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Team Lead in Illinois to supervise and optimize drinking water treatment operations at the Kankakee local office.

You will oversee testing, maintenance, and capital projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable service to customers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of leadership experience in water treatment or capital projects, with strong communication and vendor coordination

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, chemistry or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years in water treatment system operations and/or capital improvement projects with demonstrated management of multiple projects.
• Three years previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors operations of water purification facilities and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides technical guidance to utility technicians and facility operators.
• Oversees construction, major repairs and capital projects with complex equipment.
• Coordinates with vendors, contractors, and engineering staff for system operations.
• Develops budgets and cost estimates for capital projects.
