Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in water treatment or completion of City Operations Technician I apprenticeship.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate filters, chlorinators, dry chemical feeders and other equipment in a water treatment plant or remote stations.
• Work a rotating shift including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays; may be on-call or held over for emergencies.
