Job summary

Carroll Water is seeking a Water Treatment Technician to service and repair residential and commercial water treatment systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and explain recommendations clearly, while upholding high customer service standards.

The role involves field work across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia, with driving requirements and possible weekend or on-call duties. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and water treatment systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other job-related equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to participate in weekend or on-call rotations.
• Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems.
• Work with a variety of water treatment equipment including water softeners, RO systems, filtration, chemical feed, UV and more.
• Identify system issues and determine appropriate repair or service solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace filters, media, components, and other equipment.
• Test and evaluate water treatment systems and water quality.
• Explain system operation and maintenance needs to customers clearly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Carroll Water positively at every jobsite.
• Document service calls and performance using company technology.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials.
• Load, transport, and safely handle tools and equipment.
