Job summary

Carroll Water is seeking a Water Treatment Technician to service residential and commercial water treatment systems and provide exceptional customer service in the field. You will work with softeners, RO systems, UV, and filtration equipment, diagnosing issues and performing maintenance across client sites.

The role requires driving to customer locations, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to train apprentices.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and water treatment systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems.
• Work with water treatment equipment (softeners, RO, UV, filters, chemical feed).
• Identify system issues and determine repair or service solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace filters, media, and components.
• Test and evaluate water treatment systems and water quality.
• Explain system operation and maintenance to customers clearly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Carroll Water positively at every jobsite.
• Accurately document service calls and equipment installed using company technology.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials.
• Load and transport tools safely, maintain clean vehicle/workspace.
• Assist with training apprentices and helpers; follow safety policies.
• Participate in weekend/on-call rotations.
