Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Project Engineer to execute defined portions of engineering project scope for industrial systems, including equipment specifications, drawings, data sheets, layouts, and BOMs. You will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure compliant design and timely delivery.

The role supports procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities, applies established standards, and emphasizes BIM coordination and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or chemical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Water treatment or UPW/WWT experience preferred.
• AutoCAD and piping skid design experience preferred.
• BIM and model coordination experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined portions of engineering project scope, supporting the design and delivery of industrial systems from concept through installation.
• Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, data sheets, layouts, pipe class documents, and BOMs.
• Coordinate equipment selection, vendor drawings, and submittals to meet project requirements.
• Support schedules, priorities, and technical execution with project managers and engineers.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners for design validation and integration.
• Assist with procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities by resolving technical questions.
