Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate manufacturing activities on a 6pm–6am Pittman schedule, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role drives Lean/5S, manages schedules, inventory, and equipment, and reports production progress to site leadership using SAP/Tableau.

The candidate will lead front-line staff, optimize utilities and wastewater processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing teams and improving unit profitability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water treatment processes including deionization, softening, RO and deoxygenation.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (DOT) and 5S discipline.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes an environment of productivity, quality, and EHS excellence.
• Leads by example and develops strong plant staff relationships.
• Delivers internal production reporting using SAP, Tableau, and other systems.
• Oversees scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensures waste water compliance and permits.
• Manages hiring processes for technicians and on-site staff.
• Trains employees on EHS procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains production flow and coordinates multiple activities.
