Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Process Optimization Manager (Water Treatment) to lead operational excellence and regulatory strategy across a portfolio of treatment facilities. You will blend regulatory expertise with data-driven process operations for compliance and performance.

Responsibilities include guiding process controls, overseeing data analytics, developing regional compliance frameworks, and coordinating with vendors, clients, and operations teams. Travel to sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 15+ years of water/wastewater compliance and operations experience.
• Experience with data analytics, QA/QC program management, and laboratory oversight.
• Advanced degree (MS/MBA) preferred; background in process operations or treatment optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on process controls, optimization, and regulatory interpretation.
• Lead data analytics programs to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Develop regional compliance frameworks aligned with SDWA and state regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement across decentralized plant portfolios and meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with vendors/contractors to evaluate treatment technologies and reduce sludge production.
