Job summary

Aqua PA Shenango Valley Division is seeking a Maintenance Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain pumping, storage, and purification equipment at the Shenango Valley Water Treatment Plant. The role includes routine lab work, sampling, and record keeping to ensure reliable water delivery.

The position requires technical training, ability to work 12-hour shifts, and adherence to safety policies. Equal opportunity employer; report to other plants within the division as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate, maintain, monitor, and control water treatment plant equipment.
• Must read and interpret instruments and record data accurately.
• Must perform sampling and lab testing as directed and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates and maintains plant equipment and processes.
• Monitors SCADA and makes adjustments to maintain water quality.
• Produces reports for internal and regulatory entities.
• Communicates findings and maintains records using computerized databases.
