Job summary

Orange County Government's Water Reclamation division seeks Plant Specialist Trainee and I-III, responsible for operation, maintenance, sampling, and data recordkeeping. Roles include SCADA operations and equipment troubleshooting within a public utilities setting in Orlando, Florida.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess CDL with required endorsements or CDL permit and obtain license within six months of hire.
• State certifications in Water or Wastewater (as applicable by assignment).

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Collect process samples and maintain records/databases.
• Operate water facilities via SCADA and monitor safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment and respond to trouble calls.
• Assist in training staff and preparing reports.
