Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; Class "B" State of Florida D.E.P. Water Operator License or better

Responsibilities

• Controls treatment plant machines and equipment to purify water for human and industrial use.
• Operates pumps, motors, valves, and chemical feeders to regulate flow and treatment.
• Dumps, mixes, and adjusts chemicals to disinfect and clarify water; tests samples and records results.
• Maintains and repairs equipment; monitors gauges and panel readings to ensure proper water quality.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; two years advanced education or equivalent specialized training
