Job summary

Midnight Sun Technologies, LLC is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator for NAS Jacksonville. This full-time, third-shift role involves operating sewage treatment and disposal systems, monitoring controls, and maintaining logs to ensure compliant plant operations.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years’ journeyman experience, and a Florida DEP wastewater license. Benefits and union-grade protections are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum - High school or equivalent; Two years advanced education or equivalent specialized training.
• Minimum - Two years journeyman level experience in the trade.
• Minimum - Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Minimum - Valid Driver's License; Class "C" State of Florida D.E.P. Wastewater Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow of sewage.
• Monitor control panels and adjust valves/gates to regulate flow.
• Record meter readings and maintain operation logs.
• Direct wastewater treatment-plant attendants and disposal workers in routine operations and maintenance.
