Responsibilities

• Operate a City vehicle daily to travel to water treatment plants, pump stations, storage tanks, lakes and vendors
• Learn to calculate chemical dosages and adjust feeders for optimal water treatment
• Monitor and control treatment plant chemical feed pumps and equipment for clarifying, filtering, and disinfecting water
• Perform, interpret, and record laboratory tests (pH, alkalinity, turbidity, chlorine residual, hardness, temperature, conductivity) to assess water quality
