Job summary

Gfoat is seeking an entry-level water treatment plant operator to assist in operating, monitoring, and maintaining the water supply and treatment facilities in Temple, TX.

You will work under a licensed operator, use SCADA, perform lab duties, collect samples, keep logs, and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; training and licensing (Class D) will be completed within six months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Class D Water Licensing within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot water treatment plants and distribution systems.
• Use SCADA to adjust chemicals and treatment equipment per permits.
• Perform laboratory duties and maintain instruments.
• Maintain shift records and reports.
