Job summary

The City of Roseville, CA is hiring for Water Treatment Plant Operator Grades I/II/III. This role involves monitoring system performance, operating SCADA systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance to deliver high-quality water to the community.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade 1 (T1) certificate within one year of appointment.
• Two years of experience operating a water treatment plant for Grade II; two years for Grade III.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, GED, or higher-level degree for Grades II/III.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and SCADA systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safe, high-quality water treatment and distribution.
• Operate and maintain water treatment processes in accordance with grade requirements.
• Support a team focused on safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
