City of Roseville, CA is seeking a Power Plant Operator Technician I or II to operate and maintain advanced water purification and Zero Liquid Discharge systems in our power generation facility. This regular, full‑time role involves rotating 12-hour shifts, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations with a focus on reliability and environmental stewardship.

Experience requirements vary by level: I requires 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma; II

Formación

• 1 year of experience operating and monitoring a process system in an industrial plant environment (I).
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade (I).
• 2 years of experience for Technician II; completion of the twelfth grade (II).
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Operate high efficiency water purification equipment to provide a continuous supply of clean water to the power generation process.
• Operate and maintain Zero Liquid Discharge equipment to recycle water within the process.
• Perform operational rounds, read equipment readings, and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Respond to a dynamic environment of operational scenarios to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.
