Job summary
The City of Roseville is hiring a Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade II or Grade III in the Environmental Utilities Department. The role involves monitoring high-tech SCADA systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting treatment and distribution of quality water.

Qualifications
- Grade I: No experience required; repair/maintain mechanical equipment preferred.
- Grade I: T1 certificate within one year of appointment.
- Grade II: 2 years operating a water treatment plant; T2 certificate.
- Grade III: 2 years operating a water treatment plant; T3 certificate.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the water treatment plant and SCADA systems to ensure regulatory compliance and safe, clean water distribution.
- Support continuous operation on a 24-hour rotating schedule with 48 hours on/4 days off.
- Participate in safety and customer service focused team activities.
