Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Distribution Team Lead to oversee potable water purification facilities, including testing, reporting, and regulatory compliance across our operations. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in filtration and facility operations.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years of water treatment operations with supervisory experience, plus inventory management skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, chemistry or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in water treatment system operations and/or capital improvement projects.
• Three years previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience managing & reconciling inventory preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors operations of water purification facilities including testing and analysis for regulatory compliance.
• Makes recommendations on improvements and upgrades to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
• Provides technical guidance to utility technicians and facility operators.
• Identifies cost-effective improvements in system operations and vendor/contractor services.
• Prepares monitoring reports for regulatory review and maintains facility records.
• Oversees construction, major repairs, and capital projects for complex equipment.
• Interfaces with vendors, contractors, and engineers on water systems.
• Assists in capital project cost development and operating budgets.
• Handles elevated customer questions and concerns about water services.
• Leads or assists with other tasks as assigned.
