Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water Lead Operator to lead daily treatment plant operations, oversee shifts, and guide a team toward reliable drinking water. Class A Water Operator license or equivalent is required. This hands-on leadership role covers system operation, data review, lab testing, chemical handling, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED; advanced subject study preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Florida Class A Water Treatment Plant Operator License or reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support plant operators during assigned shifts.
• Review operational data and plant performance with supervisory staff.
• Ensure safe, efficient water treatment operations in compliance with standards.
• Respond to operational issues and adjust processes as needed.
• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform lab testing and collect samples for analyses.
• Maintain equipment, documentation, and reports.
