Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its water plant in Point Comfort, TX. You will diagnose, service, and repair equipment across clarification, dewatering, filtration, and RO systems, and perform preventive maintenance as directed by supervision.

The role emphasizes strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills, with on-site duties including equipment installation, scheduling coordination, and safety compliance. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or international equivalent) with 2+ years' service/maintenance in an industrial environment.
• Trade school or apprenticeship training in plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical repair is highly desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning machinery and perform repairs.
• Install new equipment and systems, and run preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain records and reports as directed by the supervisor.
• Be available on call for emergency repairs to keep the plant running smoothly.
