Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service water treatment systems at a plant in Point Comfort, TX. You’ll diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, install equipment, and manage preventative maintenance across multiple technologies including clarification, filtration, and RO.

Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills are essential. You will work with supervisors and operation teams to optimize performance, maintain safety, and keep records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in service/maintenance in industrial env.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to gain/access sites as assigned.
• Ability to read safety/operating/maintenance instructions.
• Ability to lift, climb, and use manual dexterity.
• Forklift certification within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery, perform general repairs.
• Install new equipment and systems as directed and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals; monitor chemical injection systems.
• Be on call for emergency repairs and ensure safety and housekeeping practices.
