Job summary

Veolia | North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on water treatment systems at a Point Comfort, TX site. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, install new equipment, and maintain preventive maintenance programs, while collaborating with supervision and cross-functional teams.

The role requires mechanical, process, and electrical know-how, with on-call responsibilities and a focus on safety and reliability of plant operations.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to gain access to sites as assigned.
• Ability to read safety, operating and maintenance documents and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, manual dexterity).
• Must be forklift certified within 90 days of employment (evidence on 90-day evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment (valves, air compressors, pumps, instrumentation).
• Carry out diagnosis, repairs, and installation of equipment as directed.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs across assigned machinery.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and communicate schedules.
• Keep maintenance areas tidy and maintain records and reports as directed by supervisor.
• Stay on call for emergency repairs to keep plant running.
