Job summary

Xylem is hiring a Field Service Technician to service wastewater treatment equipment at customer sites in Milledgeville, GA, with occasional coverage in surrounding areas. The role operates Monday–Thursday on a 4x10 schedule, 6:00/7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and includes on-call duties.

Training is provided, and a strong mechanical/plumbing background is valued. Requirements include a HS diploma and 1–2 years of technical experience; plumbing/HVAC backgrounds are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of technical experience preferred.
• Background in plumbing, HVAC, industrial HVAC, construction, mechanical maintenance, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site operation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation with weekend or after-hours emergencies being extremely rare.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and interact professionally with customers.
