Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Quinton, AL. The role covers on-site operation, service, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment, with training provided on equipment-specific tasks.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma, 0-2 years technical experience, and comfort with MS Office and smart devices. You will work in a high customer-facing role, with a rotating shift and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• One year of work experience preferred.
• 0-2 years technical experience preferred – industrial or commercial process water experience a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• On-site operation, service, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment.
• Equipment-specific training will be provided.
• Willing to train the right person; previous industrial experience encouraged.
• Rotating swing-shift with overtime opportunities and occasional weekends.
