Job summary

Xylem is hiring a Field Service Technician to service our filter press wastewater treatment equipment at the Hamilton, MS location. The role covers on-site operation, service, and maintenance with training provided for equipment operations.

The position follows a swing shift schedule (AM/PM) with overtime and occasional weekends. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent and 0–2 years of technical experience, preferably in industrial or commercial process water.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience preferred.
• 0-2 years technical experience preferred - industrial or commercial process water experience a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate, service, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment on site.
• Willing to train the right person, but previous experience in an industrial environment is encouraged.
• The position operates on a swing shift schedule (AM and PM) with overtime opportunities and occasional weekends.
