Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to report to our Tampa, FL location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

The Water Treatment Field Service Technician will install, service and maintain our water purification equipment, using a company service vehicle. Equipment training will be provided; prior technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including the ability to utilize smart devices.
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position.
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like as a Water TreatmentField Service Technician

The Water Treatment Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
