Job summary

Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain our water purification equipment at customer sites around Greer, SC, reporting to the Greer location. You will operate a company service vehicle and receive equipment training.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of technical experience in process water, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a customer‑facing mindset. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years technical experience in industrial or commercial process water.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Ability to work in a high customer-facing position.
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to report to our Greer, SC location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Field Service Technician

The Water Treatment Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment Field Service Technicians

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
• A valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record
• CDL preferred, but not required

The estimated salary range for this position is $26 to $30/hr.

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.
