Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to support diesel-powered pumps at our White Springs, FL site. You will install, mobilize, and tear down equipment utilizing a company service vehicle, with training provided. Previous technical experience is encouraged though not required, and there are opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years technical experience; fusion is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including the ability to utilize smart devices.
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position.
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to report to our White Springs, FL location and service our diesel-powered pumps.

What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, mobilization, and tear-down of our on-site equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with occasional overtime opportunities.

Position Requirements for Field Service Technicians

The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $29/hr.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
