Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Service Representative to install, service and maintain water treatment systems in the Central United States. You will work with Branch Sales Manager and Technical Route Salespeople to support sales growth and profitability in the Water Treatment Group.

The role demands hands-on technical support, strong customer service, and the ability to travel up to 50% across territory. Expect 10-12 hour days, some overnight travel, and safety compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Water Treatment industry.
• Ability to identify appropriate sales opportunities within accounts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with common software.
• Good problem-solving and math skills for flow calculations.
• Ability to manage time and stay organized in field roles.
• Solid negotiation and follow-through abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work 10–12 hour days.
• Clean driving record and successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair customer equipment and provide ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain productive relationships with existing customers.
• Generate repeat sales with product and technical information.
• Grow product lines and identify new lines to add.
• Develop retention strategies and respond to evolving customer needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty; attend regional trade shows.
• Prepare monthly territory reports and market summaries.
• Provide hands-on technical support and collaborate with sales teams.
