Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Engineering Intern to join its Water Tech team for a 14-month co-op starting May 2027. You will work with experienced engineers on industrial water treatment, developing system drawings, performing lab tests, and monitoring process performance.

Responsibilities include assisting with monthly reporting, inventory management, and field checks on equipment. Ideal candidates are pursuing a BEng (Chemical/Environmental/Industrial/Mechanical) or BSc in Chemistry with teamwork

Qualifications

• Experience performing basic chemical tasks such as titrations, pH and conductivity measurements.
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Visio, and data management.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate system drawings and PFDs for manuals and proposals.
• Conduct wet testing in the laboratory on water samples.
• Monitor process equipment performance via online tools.
• Assist with monthly reporting requirements.
• Manage bulk chemical inventory and assist with ordering.
• Perform field checks on process equipment and optimize opportunities.
