Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Field Engineering Intern to join the Water Tech team for a 12-week summer internship beginning May 2027. You will build an inventory of equipment, develop a preventive maintenance plan, and create tracking tools to support PM tasks and invoicing.

Responsibilities include generating system drawings, monitoring processes, and assisting with monthly reporting. Requires rising junior/senior in engineering or chemistry with strong teamwork and basic mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
• Computer skills, including Gsuite, Visio, and online data management.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Generate system drawings, PFDs, for use in on-site manuals and proposals.
• Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools.
• Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements.
• Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals).
• Work with supervisors on plant equipment optimization opportunities.
