Job summary

Veolia invites applications for a Field Engineering Intern to join its Water Tech team for a 12-week summer program. You will help build a comprehensive equipment inventory and develop a preventive maintenance plan for tanks, pumps, sensors, and controllers.

You will generate drawings, monitor equipment online, and support monthly reporting while working with experienced engineers to identify optimization opportunities. Start date is May 2027.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment.
• Computer skills: Gsuite, Visio, and online data management.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and maintain deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Generate system drawings and PFDs for on-site manuals and proposals.
• Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools.
• Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements.
• Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, residues).
• Collaborate with supervisors on equipment optimization opportunities.
