Job summary

Veolia is inviting a Field Engineering Intern to join a strong technical service environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals in industrial water treatment and gain exposure supporting water treatment systems during a 12-week internship starting May 2027.

Responsibilities include inventorying equipment, developing a preventive maintenance plan, and creating tracking tools to monitor PM tasks and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment
• Proficient with Gsuite and Visio
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027

Responsibilities

• Generate system drawings and PFDs for manuals and proposals
• Actively monitor process equipment performance with online tools
• Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements
• Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals)
• Collaborate with supervisors on equipment optimization opportunities
