Qualifications

• Computer literacy and ability to operate plant controls.
• Waterworks license requirements: Class A water cert within 48 months.
• CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 180 days.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water treatment facilities, well facilities, pumping storage facilities, and reservoirs.
• Record inspections, tests and data; prepare reports for DEP/PUC and other entities.
• Collect, analyze, and record water samples for regulatory compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and troubleshoot operational problems.
• Care for structures and grounds around facilities; respond to overtime and emergency calls.
• Comply with CDL requirements and medical examinations; DOT drug/alcohol testing.
