Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. is seeking a Facility Operator to support operations across water production and wastewater treatment facilities in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will maintain equipment, operate distribution systems, and conduct routine water quality analyses. A high school diploma or GED is required, and no previous experience is necessary.

This role requires a valid U.S. Driver’s License and the ability to work under varying conditions, including lifting and carrying items up to 75 pounds. The company provides a vehicle for work purposes and the position may require on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform calculations for ratios, dosages, and volumetric measurements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment at assigned water production facilities.
• Operate and maintain distribution systems including mains and valves.
