Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a fabrication technician to assist in building and assembling water treatment equipment in a busy fabrication shop. The role requires operating power tools, following engineering drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The candidate will work with a team to ensure timely delivery, maintain records, and comply with EHS guidelines. Physical requirements include standing and lifting up to 50 lbs with PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school certificate in mechanical trades preferred.
• Experience in mechanical trades such as auto repair, HVAC, plumbing is a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools such as drills, grinders and saws.

Responsibilities

• Follows EHS rules and produces quality work.
• Assembles PVC and fabricated metal piping spools per quality standards.
• Interprets engineering drawings and adheres to specifications.
• Reads shop orders and BOMs.
• Assembles water treatment equipment as part of a team.
