Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Water Treatment and Reclaim (WTR) organization and oversee Industrial Waste Treatment (IWT) engineering. You will drive 24/7 operational excellence, safety, and innovation across water and wastewater utilities and infrastructure projects.
This leadership role focuses on reliability, capacity expansion, and sustainability in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with executive-level collaboration and project delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12 years engineering experience in water/wastewater or facilities systems.
- At least 6 years in leadership roles, preferably in high-tech or large-scale manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering organization.
- Set and drive performance expectations aligned with safety and environmental goals.
- Oversee safe and efficient operations and maintenance of UPW, IWT, and water distributions systems.
- Lead long-term capital planning and execution of infrastructure expansion projects.
- Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Mentor team members and attract top engineering talent.
