Job summary

Xylem is seeking an Industrial Controls Field Service Technician to support customers across the U.S. and Canada by installing, starting up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced municipal water treatment systems.

This hands-on technician role requires expertise in industrial controls, PLCs, electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, pumps, or commissioning. You may be a strong fit if you have experience as PLC Technician, Controls Technician, Industrial Electrician,

Qualifications

Experience servicing electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems in industrial, manufacturing, or municipal environments.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Comfortable working in field service, travel-heavy role across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Install, startup, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and service municipal water treatment systems at customer sites.
Travel to customer sites in the U.S. and Canada for field service activities.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time project outcomes.
