Job summary

Verdesian Life Sciences seeks a field sales professional in Utah to own and grow Water+ volume across turf, sod, pasture, and specialty segments. You will prospect new customers through direct and remote outreach, grower networks, and referrals from retailers and co-ops.

Collaborating with Account Managers and retail partners, you will extend Water+ reach, follow up after applications, and coordinate deliveries with the Salt Lake City team during planting windows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time exempt sales experience in agriculture.
• BA/BS in an agriculture-related field preferred.
• Experience selling inoculants, fertilizer enhancers, micronutrients, or specialty liquid nutrition is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow Water+ volume across an assigned territory.
• Prospect new customers through direct and remote outreach, grower networks, and referrals.
• Partner with Account Managers, Strategic Accounts, and retail/co-op partners to extend Water+ reach.
• Follow up after first applications to confirm results, troubleshoot issues, and keep loads scheduled.
• Coordinate pickup, tote exchange, and delivery with customers and the Salt Lake City site team around planting, mowing, and baling windows.
• Build full-line Verdesian product knowledge to progress toward Account Manager or Strategic Account roles.
