Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Water Technician to join our Facilities team in Phoenix, AZ. You will operate and troubleshoot ultrapure water, process cooling water, and industrial waste systems 24/7, ensuring continuous tool supply and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, stringent quality checks, and collaboration with engineers and supervisors. On-site shifts with potential overtime support the plant’s round-the-clock operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical College/Associate/Trade certificate preferred.
• 5+ years in industrial process piping or water treatment preferred; semiconductor/pharma/chemical settings valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate UPW, PCW, and IWT systems safely and reliably.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair system malfunctions.
• Conduct regular rounds and monitor gauges, temperatures, flows, and gas analyzers.
• Draw process samples and perform pH, temp, and analytical tests in lab settings.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance; participate in ERT if required.
