Job summary

TSMC seeks a Water Engineer to oversee ultrapure water, cooling water, and waste treatment systems at the Phoenix fab. You will develop PM/CM plans, operating procedures, and training while coordinating with technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure system safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering and have facilities/semiconductor experience; PE license is a plus. On-site work in Phoenix with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in facilities engineering, semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience with water treatment and ultrapure water systems.
• Professional Engineer license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply 6S in workspaces to improve efficiency.
• Support operational and maintenance issues, troubleshoot systems.
• Review data to ensure equipment runs within specs.
• Develop PM/CM plans, SOPs, and training materials.
• Mentor junior engineers; collaborate with technicians and managers.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties as needed.
