The City of Aurora is looking for a Water Utility Worker - Pumping to join the Southeast Area Maintenance Facility. The role involves manual labor, maintenance of pump and lift stations, and operation of water distribution infrastructure in a dynamic environment.

Salary ranges from $22.01 to $27.51 per hour, commensurate with experience. Position is full-time, on-site in Aurora, CO, with essential personnel status and routine safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of manual labor experience preferred.
• Hazard awareness and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pump/lift stations and related infrastructure.
• Respond to pump station emergencies and standby duties.
• Perform snow removal and other duties as assigned.
