Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver’s license or equivalent.
• Eligibility to obtain Baltimore City driver’s permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment in a water or wastewater treatment plant.
• Work under close supervision, follow instructions, and read meters and gauges to record readings.
• Participate in a three-year apprenticeship program with rotating shifts and potential overtime.
